Next entry in cubic foot of art series-- palindrome box.
Cruising the web on a cold winter eve, I happened on a site listing palindromes
(words and phrases that are spelled the same forward and backwards).
The phrase “In words alas drown I” is something I can relate to.
I spelled that phrase on sheets of glass, one letter per sheet, so that it
recedes into the box toward a graphic of a swimmer in a small hinged box filled with loose alphabet beads. The box is identical when viewed from front or back.
By chance, the “Word a Day” web page that I like posted “logomaniac” today
(someone obsessed with words). Winter and words seem to go together, so
stay warm and read.
