Delta Blues Man

Labor Day weekend product-- This piece of rusty metal I picked up when visiting my daughter in Clarksdale, Mississippi ("Home of the Blues") has been around my shop for a while waiting to be reborn. I decided that it could be an artifact washed up from the big river, possibly from an early undocumented middle Eastern voyage to America. An emergent golem figure surrounded by faint esoteric symbols, used in lost rituals? ( Some remote Appalachian groups like the Melungeons claim Phoenician origins. See "Economist" August 27,2016). Also reminds me of a piece I bought at the Hambone gallery in Clarksdale, so I will call him the Delta Blues Man.
