More spiral books, from the third smaller compartment of my spiral chest. The blue cover book is more cast/dyed/gunpowder burn cotton. Spirals are gunpowder burns and electric stove burns. I have other paper burning ideas, but they may wait for better outside weather.
The accordion book is cast cotton with embedded chains and cords, dyed, then embedded materials removed. Results are not totally predictable, depending on how dyes migrate during drying.
The side bound book has minerals and epoxies in CNC router-cut spirals. I like the juxtaposition of precise geometry and random pattern of the filling. The contents are portions of an old book where I shot holes in targets in a spiral pattern over suggestive pages. My only current use for a gun is as an art tool
