TruthBlaster2020

A peace offering. In my brief muzzle-loading period in the 80's I made a replica buffalo rifle from a kit. I am down-sizing, and the world has too many guns, so I cut down the gun to make a "Truth Blaster", believing that words should be more powerful than bullets. Barrel is filled with type metal from an old lino-type machine, containing the ghosts of many words in its life of use and reuse. Gun sight is a pen nib. Gun stock has a stamp made of letters from my mother's old Underwood typewriter when she was a secretary during the war. They spell "Veritas", or truth, which is the motto of my college, and also the Roman goddess of truth. Guns to art , rather than plowshares.
